Love coffee but you're not a fan of caffeine? SHOOTING BLANKS is a specialty coffee that will let you enjoy the amazing "bang" of flavour you'd expect from a specialty coffee without the cannonball of energy that you would otherwise get from regular coffee. 

Coffee decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Process results in a chemical-free decaf coffee that retains the bean's precious flavour and potent antioxidants whilst removing the caffeine, making for the healthiest decaffeinated coffee available. Many other decaffeination methods employ the use of chemical solvents like methyl chloride and ethyl acetate. With the Mountain Water Process, the only ingredients used to remove 99.9% of a coffee's caffeine content are water, heat, and time.

This batch of coffee was harvested in Mexico and treated at the Descamex plant in the Córdoba region of Veracruz using fresh, pure glacial water sourced from the highest peak in Mexico, the Pico de Orizaba mountain. It is then roasted locally in Saint John, New Brunswick in small batches often, ensuring that the coffee doesn't sit on shelves for months and you are left with fresh, incredible tasting coffee.
